FIABCI

FIABCI In its 60 years of existence FIABCI the International Real Estate Federation, has built an enviable reputation as the authentic voice of international real estate. Multi-disciplinary and truly international it has no political axe to grind and represents the interests of no one country. Because of this and it's concern with generating business opportunities for it's worldwide membership, it's opinions are sought by international bodies like the UN and regional bodies like the EU, NAFTA and MERCOSUR. FIABCI owes no allegiance to any single country or national body, only to its members. In this respect it is completely democratic. Senior office in the Federation is held according to ability and willingness to contribute. There are 55 FIABCI Chapters throughout the world and new ones are regularly being formed. Currently there are also 115 professional associations that relate to FIABCI. Each are called Principal Members and have a total membership approaching 1.5 million practitioners. As a non-governmental organization FIABCI is a consulting body with the UN Economic and Social Council and has its permanent representative in Geneva, New York and Vienna.

CEPI

CEPIEPAG The European Council of Real Estate Professions (CEPI) was established in April, 1990. It is an international non-profit organization with headquarter in Brussels. It unites the associations of professional real estate brokers and property managers from European Union member countries. CEPI has two divisions: CEAB (European Confederation of Property Managers), EPAG (European Property Agents Group).

In 2004 the Association LANIDA has become as a Member of CEPI and therewith receive all the procurations adequate to its status, including possibility to take part in harmonization of real estate instructions and legislative documentation of the European member countries; regular receiving of the information from European Commission, European Council and European Parliament on the new normative acts, directives and recommendations regarding the real estate; access to European real estate market documentation, surveys and statistics; possibilities to take part in different exchange programs as Eurotraining, Eureduc etc.

The working groups of CEPI regularly cooperate with European Commission and European Parliament. During the General Assembly held in Vienna a decision to establish a new working group was made; its aim — to elaborate common requirements to all the real estate specialists throughout the Europe. LANIDA accepted the offer to take part in this new working group.

CEREAN

CEREAN CEREAN — Central European Real Estate Associations Network uniting real estate professionals from Central and Eastern Europe was established in 1994 on the base of initiative from the International Real Estate Foundation. At the moment the real estate associations from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and Macedonian has become members of CEREAN. CEREAN makes active cooperation with many large and powerful non-governmental real estate organizations around the world: European — CEPI and CEI; International — NAR, ICREA and FIABCI; American — USAID and IRPF. The International Real Estate Foundation and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) actively support activities of CEREAN, financing it to establish a union for education and certification centre within three years, in order to promote the new member countries' professional integration.

Every year CEREAN for its member organizations organizes a competition BEST CEREAN. Companies operating on real estate market take part in it.

Since 2003 LANĪDA is a member of CEREAN.

Being a member of CEREAN, LANIDA members will have the possibility not only to find new contacts with foreign partners and exchange information, but also more facilities for professional education. Real estate specialists form different countries are lecturing at CEREAN seminars, and afterwards the international certificates are being issued.

In October, 2004, LANIDA organized in Riga the 10th International Conference of the CEREAN “New Real Estate Markets in the Central Europe” that was attended by more than 400 Professionals from the whole world.

National Association Of Realtors The National Association of Realtors®, “The Voice for Real Estate”, is America’s largest trade association, representing 1 million members, including NAR’s institutes, societies and councils, involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.

Our membership is composed of residential and commercial REALTORS®, who are brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors and others engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry. Russian Guild of Realtors

Российская Гильдия Риэлторов Russian Guild of Realtors is the largest non-profit organization uniting more than 1300 companies and 48 associations.

The main objective of RGR is to provide support for the development of civilized real estate market and the evolvement of standards of professional practice.

Activities: participate in the development of laws and normative acts regulating the real estate market; develop and conduct educational programs for real estate professionals; create and promote the System of Voluntary Certification of Real Estate Services; develop and improve national standards of professional practice in the sphere of real estate; cooperate with international organizations; provide assistance in the formation and support for regional associations of the real estate market participants.
